NEP-2020 has very clearly mentioned the roadmap for the adoption of technology in education. It has emphasized the use of open online learning platforms along with the different e-contents, information repositories, etc platforms. The OER developed under the MOE-GOI has its own credibility in terms of courses available across the higher educational institutions of our country. Various platforms like SWAYAM, NDLI, e-PG Pathshala, CEC-OER, virtual labs, etc are developed under the guidance of MOE-GOI. Even these platforms served as an alternative during the pandemic situations. Till the study was submitted, 244 numbers of colleges have already registered in N-LIST out of which 185 colleges were the present beneficiary. College libraries are providing maximum assistance to library users in using the N-LIST services. So, whether a similar approach is found to be practiced by the college libraries in the case of OER. Further whether the faculty members are using all the different open online education platforms of MOE-GOI. What challenges are faced by the college teachers of Assam in utilizing the OER? So, this paper basically deals with all these three questions mentioned above.Item Access to Government Information in India: Opportunities and Challenges(INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, 2022-11) Dangi, Ram Kumar; Saraf, Sanjiv; Shukla, Ashok KumarAccess to government information is essential to the success of democracy and to ensure human rights. A systematic literature review was conducted using keyword searches such as “author”, “authorship”, “gift authorship”, “research collaboration”, “Indian researchers”, and “research collaboration model” from the selected databases, i.e., Scopus, Web of Science and Google Scholar. The study found that adding friends and colleagues’ names as co-author through research collaboration without making any significant contribution are commonly practiced among Indian researchers. Recruitment, timely promotion, renewal contract and salary raises motivate gift authorship among Indian researchers. VRC is suggested for a rapid and effective outcome among homogenous disciplines. While HRC is advised for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary collaboration, allowing researchers to develop partnerships with various paths for researchers from many fields. Effective research collaboration could increase the value of knowledge generation and, as a result, encourage researchers to adopt effective models of collaboration that will inevitably improve searchers' abilities. The study recommended a research collaboration model (RCM) that will benefit future researchers to sign up for proper collaboration rather than simply adding a name as gift authorshipItem NEP-2020: OER and M-learning in Higher Education(INFLIBNET Centre, Gandhinagar, 2022-11) Jha, Shiv Shankar; Kampa, Raj KishorThe purpose of the study is to critically examine the importance of digital learning, particularly mobile learning, and its policy matters.
