Abstract: Information Flow refers to the technique in which information is acquired, analyzed, and distributed by Metropolitan Planning Organizations. Information Flow can be studied taking into account three stages of the process such as (i) Accomplishment of Data in Electronic form, (ii) Analysis and Management of Data, and (iii) Distribution of information. The ameliorated telecommunication systems, a convergence of an assortment of technologies such as telecommunication, computer, satellite, microwave etc. have a far-reaching upshot to adopt a changed system of flow of information. Telecommunication technology pooled with Computer technology in this respect is an indispensable medium that transmits information by electromagnetic means. A wide variety of information can be transferred through a telecommunications system, including voice and harmony, still-frame and full-motion pictures, computer files and applications, and telegraphic data. This paper throws light on the information flow using various devices.
