Abstract: | The era of information technology has provided us various opportunities to access, store and retrieve desired information quickly and accurately. But to stay in the race, library professionals need to acquire the skills to manage the libraries with the available technologies. Besides expertise in Library and Information Science, the professionals must be ready to gear up themselves to meet the challenges concerned with effective and efficient methods of using new technologies in the library.
