The greatest potential of the library and information services is capable of tapping the remote databases through network interface using advanced technology. The importance for databse isincreasingly attractive as search systems are simplified for easy access to library users. The automation process' should in case be delayed as the growing demand mayjeopardise the essentia/library services.
