Digital Library Management: A Critique

Abstract

Digital information forms an increasingly large part of our cultural and intellectual heritage and offers significant benefits to users. The use of computer is changing forever the way information is being created, managed and accessed. This paper gives brief description about the digital library and its management; selection and acquisition; indexing, storage and retrievals; services and policies; and more about the problems and challenges in maintaining the digital library.
