dc.description.abstractThis paper presents a brief over view of Digital Preservation, Digitization of manuscripts and preservation techniques which are currently in use in India. The role of the National Library of India in Digital Preservation of Indian Manuscripts is highlighted. It also deals with the Manuscript Resource Centers and Manuscript Conservation Centers of India. The requirements of Digital Preservation are presented in this paper.en_US
