The use of it facilitated quicker, easier, and more effective labour. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the idea of artificial intelligence and its main applications. The paper's detailed investigation of the use of AI in libraries is another area of expertise. In this age of information explosion, libraries have transformed into information hubs. As such, implementing artificial intelligence greatly aids in meeting user needs in the most efficient manner at the appropriate moment. Additionally, libraries are a great place to learn on your own, and using artificial intelligence in libraries can be quite beneficial.

    Information Seeking Behaviour of Students in Digital Era: A Study on the Postgraduate Students of Life Science of Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh

    Information seeking behavior refers to the way people search and utilize information. This study was undertaken to determine the information-seeking behavior and use of information resources by students of Life Science Dept. of Rajiv Gandhi University. In the course of seeking, the individual may interact with manual information systems or with computer-based systems. The study made an effort to determine the sources used for accessing e-resources in particular. Libraries are regarded as beating heart of a university setup. It can play important role in student’s information-seeking behavior, which is considered as a multifarious, dynamic, social human behavior that needs a picture as rich as possible to truly understand the phenomenon.

    Scholarly Use of Print and Online Journals in Rajiv Gandhi University: A Comparative Study

    The purpose of this paper is to compare the scholarly use of print and online journals at Rajiv Gandhi University, Arunachal Pradesh, India. The analysis and results of this paper is based on the data collected from questionnaire distributed to all research scholars of the University. The main findings are that the respondents are more attracted towards e-journals than print journals. However, they depend more on open-source materials than those available via E-Sodhsindhu INFLIBNET. Respondents also identified the need for training in using e-resources and retrieving information from them from time-to-time. The use of e-resources, particularly e-journals, is increasing in the developing countries. Studies such as this one are required to understand the problems faced by the users and to increase the use of e-resources.
