    UGC- Infonet: Its Availability and Use in Universities of Assam

    Now-a-day, it has become a trend among publishers to publish their document in electronic format which is known as electronic resource. It has changed the entire gamut of society, libraries especially the university libraries and its collection. This paper mainly traces the availability of eresources under the UGC-Infonet E-journal consortium in university libraries of Assam. It also highlights the current use of e-journals accessed by the users of three universities of Assam namely Dibrugarh University, Tezpur University and Assam University.
