Abstract: Many libraries in other countries with very high financial capability are now into cooperative endeavor in on-line databases subscriptions. Consortia or inter-library cooperative may not be new in Developing countries like the Philippines but many activities in library cooperation still revolves around the basics such as bibliographic access, inter-library loan, cooperative acquisition, indexing, and cataloging. Just like in other countries, academic libraries and institutions are also the primary players in consortium undertakings in the country.
