dc.description.abstractNeed for resources sharing through consortia has become a necessary for the libraries all over the world. Various factors contribute to this situation. Indian libraries are no exception to this fast changing computive environment. This paper gives a brief account of some of the major consortia initiatives taken during the last couple of years.
