Academic and Research libraries have harnessed the potential of the World Wide Web
to the delivery of automated bibliographical and full text information on their web pages
to reach the every nook and corner of the user community. The literature offers
considerable guidance on creating and evaluating library Web sites. Development of
new methods for evaluation of library Web sites on the World Wide Web’ including a
brief examination and discussion of quality applied to Web sites with criteria for the
evaluation of the content and design of academic library Web sites. Further, paper
attempts to review the relevant literature and concludes with future research. |
