Abstract:

Today Library and Information society is passing through various new technologies to
meet the information needs of people by providing high quality information system,
services, products, based on the recorded human knowledge of the world, through the
utilization of current and emerging information technologies, that is digital technologies.
This paper describes Strategic Planning and Catalysts planning and Visions/Policies. It
portrays social issues, intellectual property rights, uses requirements and satisfaction,
models and framework for change management, consortia: Success and reality. In the
concluding chapter it evaluates the free and equal access to digital information. |
