Abstract:
This paper describes the theoretical and practical explanation of the electronic library
and its information retrieval and service, for a special reference to the Management
institution library. It also highlights the e-Library, CD-ROM networking, Internet and Web
resource services and legal issues.
Internet has become an important and widely known source of
information. In such a situation, information retrieval on Internet becomes
all the more important. This paper tries to take a look at the practical
issues of information retrieval on Internet.
