Abstract:
This paper describes the role of library professionals; in creating awareness and guiding
the users in locating the required information, through User Education (UE) programmes.
Author tries to stress upon the dire need to provide training to the present day end-user to
explore the information, which is available in various sources and in different forms, especially
in electronic/digital form.
