dc.description.abstract This paper assumes that the academic library world is in a state of profound and continuous change. The reasons can be summed up in the phrase – the convergence of information technology and communications. The purpose of this paper is to share with you some personal observations on some common “pitfalls” that we library managers make as change agents. I will then offer some simple strategies for working with library staff members in embracing change caused by library automation. en_US
