Digital libraries rest upon-(i) Basic human need for timely and relevant information,(ii) Accumulation of information and all the supporting infrastructure which includes users, professional associations, library and information centres and publishers; and (iii) Advances made in networking, information science, information, artificial intelligence, etc. en_US
