Analyses the Internet training for the academic library staff. The study is based on a sample of 6
academic libraries within Guwahati. The study throws light on the importance of Internet in today’s
academic environment and the importance of Internet training. The study goes into depth to
investigate the training methods used, contents of the training and other aspects that are most
important before the management to organize Internet training for the academic library staff.
