The paper first discusses the Internet and its origin. Then, the information needs of the Environmental Economics scholars are explained. Thirdly the important web resources both Indian and International covering, Institutions government agencies, journals reference collection etc. dealing with Environmental Economia are presented. Lastly the author suggests
that the use of web based information by the scholars working in the area of Environmental Economics to study the current problems. The critical role of librarian in handling this type of information in the fast changing scenario is briefly presented. |
