Abstract:
Discusses the need for awareness of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Mentions the concept
of Intellectual Capital with their key components. Classifies properties to understand the
concept of intellectual property. Analyses different aspects of IPR and its issues in digital
era. Concludes with the suggestion that Library and Information Professionals have an
obligatory role to play in making aware their users about IPR.
