Abstract:
The paper gives brief account of IT application to specially automation of in-house operation of Maharshi
Dayanand University Library at Rohtak. The hardware of software used retrospective conversion work
handled and expenses involved in computerization are presented. Challenges faced during the phase of
automation and offers solutions based on their experiences have also been presented by the authors. *
